The Derby Santa Run returns to Markeaton Park for 2025
The Derby Santa Run is set to return to Markeaton Park on Sunday 30 November 2025, bringing festive fun, community spirit and fundraising to the city.
Organised by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity, the event welcomes adults, children and even dogs to take part in a 5k festive fun run. Participants can run, jog, walk or dance their way around the course at Markeaton Park while enjoying live music, seasonal stalls and plenty of festive cheer.
This year’s event is proudly supported by trentbarton as headline sponsor, helping to make the run bigger and better than ever. Every entry includes a free Santa suit, a finisher’s medal and access to meet both the charity’s mascot Lambie and the event’s eight partner charities. All adult ticket holders will also be entered into a prize draw to win £150 of New Look vouchers (T&C’s apply).
This year, runners can choose to raise funds for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity or one of eight partner charities:

- Over The Wall Camp
- The Royal School for the Deaf, Derby
- Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre
- Rebuild East Midlands
- Derbyshire Cricket Foundation
- Friends of the Baby Unit
- Umbrella
