Who We Are
Welcome to your local hospital charity at the heart of University Hospitals Of Derby & Burton Trust, supporting the best health care for all our patients and welfare for our staff.
On 1st July 2018, the NHS Trust brought together five hospitals – in Derby, Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth -to provide the highest quality care to patients across southern Derbyshire and south east Staffordshire. The trust aims to deliver outstanding care for local people as we bring together the expertise of our 12,000 staff across our five hospital sites.
As part of this merge, the two Trust charities were also merged to create ‘Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity’.
We are here to help make patients’ lives better and your amazing donations and legacies enable the charity to help provide the extras that cannot be provided from NHS statutory funding but make a huge difference to our patients and staff.
We are committed to supporting our fundraisers and using your donations to best benefit the staff and patients of our hospital.

- Staff Training
