Son Raises Hundreds for Hospital In Memory Of Dad

Jason Pantling, who sadly lost his loving father, David Arthur Pantling, in October 2021 has raised a fantastic £780 to purchase a iPad for Ward 404 at Royal Derby Hospital along with helping to support cancer research to leave a legacy from his father.

Jason, along with brother, Philip, recognised the difficulties experienced by families trying to stay connected with loved ones due to Covid restriction on visiting hours and wanted to help future families.

When his father passed away, he decided to raise money and help other patients and families stay connected by buying an iPad for Ward 404 which is currently a Covid Ward. The ward staff have seen first-hand what a big difference it has made in helping patients and families.
