Among the grants handed out in the latest round was £246,000 to Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity for two initiatives including the expansion of a new roaming nurse service.
The money will allow Treetops Hospice, which runs the service, to continue to provide additional overnight nursing support to palliative care patients in their own homes.
