Our amazing charity team member, Vicky Carey, is taking on the skydive for a second time because she enjoyed it so much on her first jump!
This time Vicky will be joined by cousin, Holly Ashby, who works as a Health Care Assistant on ward 308 at The Royal Derby Hospital where the duo are fundraising for.
Speaking about her motivation to fundraise, Vicky said, “At work I get to see the amazing impact of the charity every day and how it really focuses on supporting our patients and staff.
“As for the skydive itself, this is the second time I have taken part and although, I will get get a little nervous nearer the day, there’s no backing out now. I am really looking forward to experiencing the thrill!”
Cousin Holly agrees with Vicky about the positive impact the charity has and said: “We are skydiving for a brilliant cause and I’m incredibly proud to support the ward where I work. What they do makes the NHS a great working environment and deliver the best care.”
