A new projector that creates an interactive image on the floor has been installed in time for Christmas, to help patients enjoy festive themed fun, in a Covid safe way.

Images of Christmas trees and snowy scenes can be projected and when children interact with the baubles and certain areas on the scene, music and other reactions occur.

The floor projector was funded by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity and it works by reacting to movement such as feet on the floor, meaning it can be used in a variety of ways for therapy and entertainment.
