Jill serves as the Chief Officer for Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity, collaborating closely with University Hospitals of Derby and Burton to ensure the delivery of Exceptional Care Together and ensuring the delivery of a five-year strategy to double the income for the charity, increase the visibility of the charity and connect with local businesses and communities.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Jill’s journey in healthcare began as a pharmacy technician within the NHS here in Derby. During her career, she has held pivotal roles in various capacities, including community pharmacy, general practice, and support services, both locally and nationally. Jill steered high-profile support and transformation initiatives during her tenure at The Department of Health and NHS England, earning widespread respect within the healthcare sector. Her expertise lies in leading innovative solutions and spearheading transformative programs, particularly in primary care settings, thereby contributing significantly to the development of sustainable healthcare solutions.
