Our lottery is a weekly charity cash prize draw that provides a vital source of funding for Derby & Burton University Hospitals Trust.
The lottery raises thousands of pounds for the hospital and helps to purchase vital equipment such as ECG machines (electro cardiograph) and extras such as comfy chairs in Maternity to provide comfort and support for family and friends staying with new mums.
We are here to help make lives better. Your amazing donations help the charity provide the extras that NHS statutory funding can’t, but make a huge difference to our patients and staff.
After merging with Burton and covering more sites with our charity, we wanted to take the opportunity to expand our lottery and make it even more rewarding for you to join.
Our new lottery will enable us to reach more supporters and secure more funding for your hospitals.
By signing up and playing the lottery, you are already making a difference to the lives of local families.
Regular giving helps the charity plan for the future. It means that the charity is able to support patients and staff at the hospital in a number of ways from providing equipment when it is needed to funding the arts programme, bringing art into our hospitals.
Nobody wants to be in hospital but the charity is committed to ensuring that everyone’s stay in hospital is as good as it can be.
Each member who plays will purchase an entry into the weekly lottery at £1 per entry. All profits will improve the care and treatment of patients in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. To find out more about areas that have been funded visit www.dbhc.org.uk or call us on 01332 785731.
The Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity Lottery is a weekly prize draw, taking place on Saturday each week.
Each member is assigned a unique 6-digit ticket number. To win, the ticket number must match the draw, in the correct order. Prizes for members include:
Match all 6 numbers – win £25,000!
Match first or last 5 numbers – win £1000
Match first or last 4 numbers – win £100
Match first or last 3 numbers – win £10
Results are published on the lottery website www.dbhclottery.zaffo.com and all winners are notified by Capen Ltd.
If you are an existing lottery member, your entry will automatically be transferred and you will be given two entries.
New users can sign up online via the website www.dbhclottery.zaffo.com where you can enter your details in a quick and easy form.
You can also sign up by filling in a lottery leaflet, available around the hospital sites and at our hub, opposite Marks & Spencer at Royal Derby Hospital.
