The Derby Santa Run 2024

We can only offer refunds or exchanges if an event has been cancelled or rescheduled.  We do offer a 24-hour cooling off period, allowing you to request a refund within 24 hours of your booking.  Bookings made within 14 days of the event are exempt from the cooling off period.

  Prize Draw Terms and Conditions 

 1. By purchasing a ticket for The Derby Santa Run 2024, you are automatically entered into this free prize draw and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to take part, please contact Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity via uhdb.charity@nhs.net to opt out. 

2. The prize draw is being run by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity. 

 Eligibility to Enter 

3. The prize draw is open to all UK-based ticket holders who purchase a ticket for the Derby Santa Run 2024 between 08:00 on 14 October 2024, and 23:59 on 1 December 2024. 

4. By remaining entered in the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to participate and claim any prize you may win. 

5. A maximum of one entry per ticket purchase is permitted. 

6. The prize draw is free to enter as part of your ticket purchase. 

 How to Enter 

7. All eligible ticket holders for the Derby Santa Run 2024 who purchase tickets between 08:00 on 14 October 2024, and 23:59 on 1 December 2024, will be automatically entered into the prize draw. 

8. If you do not wish to take part in the prize draw, you can opt out by contacting Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity at uhdb.charity@nhs.net 

9. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity will not accept responsibility if contact details provided during ticket purchase are incomplete or inaccurate. 

 The Prize 

10. The prize is a voucher redeemable for one free jacket potato with a maximum of 2 toppings from Spudman’s food van at Markeaton Park on the day of the Derby Santa Run (8 December 2024). 

11. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity’s use of this prize does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of Spudman or their products. 

12. The winners will be drawn at random. 

13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. 

14. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. 

15. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity makes no representation or warranty in relation to the prize and accepts no responsibility for any loss, expense, or damage incurred in connection with participation in the prize draw or use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. 

16. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity shall not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by a prize winner in relation to the prize. 

 Winner Announcement 

17. Winners will be notified by Tuesday 3rd December via the email address provided during ticket purchase.  Emails may go into a junk folder so please ensure this is checked regularly.   

 Claiming the Prize 

18. Winners will need a voucher to claim their free prize. 

19. Winners will collect their voucher from the registration desk after 11am/once the race has commenced on the day of the 2024 Derby Santa Run to claim their prize. 

20. The voucher will be issued to the lead booker and must be collected by the lead booker. 

21. Winners must present their voucher at Spudman’s food van on the day of the Derby Santa Run (8 December 2024) to redeem their prize. 

22. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity is not responsible for ensuring all vouchers are claimed or redeemed. 

 Data Protection 

23. Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity shall use and take care of any personal information you supply in accordance with its privacy policy and data protection legislation. 

24. By remaining entered in the prize draw, you consent to the collection, retention, usage, and distribution of your personal information solely for the purposes of administering the prize draw and contacting winners.
